2009 Class Descriptions

TELESCOPIC CRANE

This class incorporates much of the basic crane class along with more seat time. We have several truck cranes on site along with large telescopic cranes.

Load Charts and Regulations is recommended prior to taking this class.

TIME: 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

 

OBJECTIVES: Gain thorough understanding of terminology, signals, maintenance, pre-shift inspection, setup, reeving and safe hoisting principles.  Additionally, learn basics of rigging and gain experience in "real world" hoisting operations.

 

THIS CLASS CONSISTS OF:

30 hours classroom

50 hours lab

80 hours Total Instruction

 

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes
