2009 Class Descriptions

TELE-HANDLER/

FORKLIFT CERTIFICATION

and RECERTIFICATION

This has been an OSHA requirement for several years now, and several operators have been removed from their jobs (temporarily) until they were certified. Do not wait until it is too late, get this certification before you need it for a job! This class uses Telescopic Material Handlers, Rough Terrain Forklifts and Vertical Mast Forklifts.

One day class.

TIME: 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

Must be renewed every three years.

OBJECTIVES:

Gain an understanding of forklift operations, safety and inspections.

 

THIS CLASS CONSISTS OF:

4 hours classroom

4 hours lab

8 hours Total Instruction

 

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.
