Our staff implements a proven, practical and comprehensive program in all aspects of heavy equipment operation. From the extensive basic training provided in the apprenticeship program to advanced journey-level classes and certifications, the process begins at Local 139's Training Center. THE TRAINING STAFF

DANIEL SPERBERG TRAINING DIRECTOR  Daniel has been a part of the training site since 1997.  He has served as a truck driver, mechanic, CDL examiner, instructor, site coordinator and assistant training director.  Dan has been training director since September 2004.

DOUG STEGEMAN CRANE INSTRUCTOR, CCO INSTRUCTOR/EXAMINER  Doug has been with the program since 1999, after spending many years with Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental.  He has taught apprentices and journey workers and currently manages the crane training and certification process.
