FOX VALLEY TECHNICAL COLLEGE CLASS

INTRODUCTION TO PIPE WELDING-40-HOUR

Introduction to common pipe welding techniques, pipe cutting and fabrication. Topics will include interpretation and drawing of weld symbols and isometric drawings. A primary emphasis of skill enhancement to standards set forth in AWS codes. The assessment will incorporate weld testing in various positions using 6 inch, schedule 40 pipe. 40-HOURS
