2010 Class Descriptions

MOTOR GRADER

This is a class for the beginner and advanced operator alike. The class will cover basic motor grader operation; finish grading operations and the use of automated blade control systems to achieve the finished product.

TIME: 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

OBJECTIVES:

Basic grader operations, understanding the basic concepts of sloping, crowning and ditching of a road.

 

THIS CLASS CONSISTS OF:

30 hours classroom

50 hours lab

80 hours Total Instruction

 

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.
