2009 Class Descriptions

MOTOR GRADER

Motor grader class is a great class for the beginner and advanced student alike. More time will be spent working with the newest automated control systems, and also working with the finish grading. Many operators have gotten their start running a blade after completing this class.

TIME: 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

OBJECTIVES:

Basic grader operations, understanding the basic concepts of sloping, crowning and ditching of a road.

THIS CLASS CONSISTS OF:

30 hours classroom

50 hours lab

80 hours Total Instruction

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.
