2009 Class Descriptions

LATTICE CRANE

In the past few years we have been doing more clamshell and dragline work and even got some piledriving done in the basic lattice crane classes.

  Load Charts and Regulations is recommended prior to taking this class. 

OBJECTIVES: Gain thorough understanding of terminology, maintenance and repair, erecting boom / CW (in proper sequence)  setup, reeving.

 

Gain experience in multi-line operation, learn techniques for smooth single line operation, learn basics of rigging.

THIS CLASS CONSISTS OF:

30 hours classroom

50 hours lab

80 hours Total Instruction

  EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.
