2010 Class Descriptions

DOZER

This class will introduce the operator to safe basic operating techniques, utilizing small dozers (up to D6 size). These techniques will include how to operate the dozer safely in various conditions. You will learn how to identify different job site conditions, hazards and how to react to these conditions utilizing general industry safety practices during every day dozer operations.

TIME: 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. 

OBJECTIVES:

Learn basic understanding of a dozer along with basic grade techniques.

 

THIS CLASS CONSISTS OF:

30 hours classroom

50 hours lab

80 hours Total Instruction

 

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.
