2010 Class Descriptions

CRANE RIGGING

The class focus will be on the everyday use of rigging in the construction industry. The students will learn the proper selection, use, care and inspection of slings and rigging hardware. This course will result in a qualification, meeting the recommendations of the proposed C-DAC standard revision. 16 hours.  

TIME: 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

*If you are not a Local 139 member and you have little (under two years) or no experience running heavy equipment, please click on the Apprenticeship for information. If you are an experienced operator who would like to join Local 139, please go to www.iuoe139.org for information.
