Construction Regulations Class Description

CONSTRUCTION REGULATIONS

This class incorporates OSHA 10+, MSHA - New Miner and First Aid/CPR into one 40-hour class. 

Some of the topics covered: Blood-borne Pathogens, Confined Space Entry, Demolition, Electrical Safety, Excavations & Trenching, Fall Protection, Fire Protection & Hotwork, Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tag-out, Material Handling, Hoists, Cranes & Rigging, Motor Vehicles & Motorized Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Power Industrial Trucks, Process Safety Management (PSM), Scaffolds, Lifts, Ladders & Stairways, Signs, Signals & Barricades.  

REQUIRED FOR APPRENTICES IN THEIR FIRST YEAR.

OBJECTIVES:

Introduction to OSHA and MSHA standards and subparts as it applies to the construction industry.

 

THIS CLASS CONSISTS OF:

40 hours classroom

40 hours Total Instruction

None
