The Wisconsin Operating Engineers take training very seriously. Our well-equipped training facility in Coloma, WI, is a tremendous resource for union members wanting to pick up new skills or brush up on the latest developments in areas like Hydraulic Crane Operation, Dredging, and Excavator Operation. In fact, the Training Center offers over twenty different courses on a rotating basis beginning in January and extending through March of each year. And each course features both classroom instruction and practical exercises on modern, well-maintained equipment.

The 2006 training season promises challenges and rewards for all comers, and the knowledge and practical experienced gained will help make all who attend into better, safer workers.

There are a few changes in the classes that will be offered by the training center for the 2006 training season. Click on a class below for a description of this year's course.

PLEASE NOTE: You may sign up for more than one class, but please be aware that you will be placed in only ONE two-week class (if space is available). We will put you on the alternate list for all other two-week classes that you request.  This is in order to give more operators a chance at training. You may register for one-week, two-day and one-day classes in addition to your two week class.
