2009 Class Descriptions

BENDING ENGINEERING

Learn how to bend pipe operating a bending machine, and shoot and engineer pipe. Lots of Math/Calculus involved.

NO BENDING CLASSES IN COLOMA IN 2008 - 2009.

 

 

OBJECTIVES:

Learn how to bend pipe operating a bending machine, and shoot and engineer pipe.

Lots of Math/Calculus involved.

THIS CLASS CONSISTS OF:

10 hours classroom

30 hours lab

40 hours Total Instruction

 

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.  

 

TIME: 7:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Bending Engineering Schedule (Held in other states in 2008-2009)

*If you are not a Local 139 member and you have little (under two years) or no experience running heavy equipment, please click on the Apprenticeship for information. If you are an experienced operator who would like to join Local 139, please go to www.iuoe139.org for information.
