2009 Class Descriptions

BASIC EXCAVATING

We will have an assortment of loaders and excavators. The class will teach the basics of excavation and loader work, including working safely around utilities and all of the OSHA regulations.

SECOND YEAR APPRENTICE CHOICE.

TIME: 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

OBJECTIVES:

Learn the safe and effective use of a wheel loader, tractor-loader-backhoe and skidsteer.

 

THIS CLASS CONSISTS OF:

30 hours classroom

50 hours lab

80 hours Total Instruction

 

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.
