2009 Class Descriptions

ADVANCED EXCAVATING

We have developed a class that will go beyond sewer and water construction, but also get heavily into planning mass excavations, deep trenches, wet trenches, dredging and other advanced skills.  A great course for those members who have taken the Hoe and Loader/Basic Excavating class in the past!

TIME: 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

OBJECTIVES:

Class will cover basic excavator operation to intermediate operation. Laying out and digging footings/trench operations to pipe installation.

THIS CLASS CONSISTS OF:

30 hours classroom

50 hours lab

80 hours Total Instruction

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Hardhat, safety vest, work clothes, work boots.
